Ozempic is the most popular brand name of an injected drug called semaglutide that’s technically a diabetes drug but many are receiving for weight loss treatment. It appears to be far more effective for weight loss than any drug ever before released.

Celebrities have been singing its praises.

Ozempic, like all brands of semaglutide, is expensive — costing typically more than $10,000 per year.

This is all great news for certain drug companies. The demand for semaglutide drugs is so high that the Danish drugmaker Novo Nordisk has literally become Europe’s most valuable company, and is now responsible for most of Denmark’s economic growth.

However, semaglutides have some serious potential side effects — including constant nausea, constipation, sharp stomach pain, and a risk of intestinal blockage. But perhaps most concerning of all (for consumers — not for drug manufacturers) is that when people stop taking it, they regain all the weight they lost and, in many cases, more.

The stunning demand for Ozempic, despite the costs and the side effects, shows how many people are desperate for a path to weight loss that actually works.

Every year, hundreds of millions of people go on diets. And 99% of diets end, eventually, in failure.

If only there was a natural and affordable way to lose weight - that actually worked!
